We are pleased to announce the launch of a new 3-hour sake experience designed specifically for larger groups, made possible through our partnership with Kizakura Fushimigura Brewery in Fushimi, Kyoto.
Until now, our 3-hour sake tours were limited to a maximum of 12 participants, which made it difficult to accommodate corporate groups, incentive trips, or educational travel programs.
With this new collaboration, we can now welcome groups of 30 participants or more—without compromising the depth or quality of the experience.
Visit a Working Modern Sake Brewery
Kizakura Fushimigura represents the modern era of sake brewing.
Unlike historical museums, this is an active production facility, where guests can observe real brewing equipment through glass walls and gain insight into how sake is produced today.
During the brewery visit, guests will:
Learn about Kizakura’s brewing philosophy and modern production methods
Taste the underground water used in Kizakura’s sake brewing
Enjoy a guided tasting of Kizakura sake at the brewery
This portion of the tour provides a clear contrast between traditional knowledge and contemporary craftsmanship—an important perspective for understanding modern Japanese sake.
Deep Dive Tasting at KISE’s Private Tasting Room
After the brewery visit, the group moves to KISE’s private tasting room, where the experience continues in a quieter and more focused setting.
Here, guests take part in:
A guided tasting of 7 carefully selected sake
Food pairing designed to highlight the difference in sake
Expert instruction on:
The sake brewing process
How to identify personal taste preferences
How to read sake labels with confidence
How to pair sake with food effectively
Just like our original 3-hour experience, this tour is not simply about tasting—it is a structured learning experience that helps guests understand sake from production to selecting their preferred bottle.
Ideal for Group Travel & Bus Access
Kizakura Fushimigura is accessible by large tour buses, making this experience especially suitable for:
Corporate incentive groups
Educational and cultural tours
Premium inbound travel itineraries
Large private groups seeking a refined Kyoto experience
This new option allows planners to include a high-quality sake experience in Fushimi without logistical compromises.
A New Standard for Group Sake Experiences in Kyoto
This collaboration marks an important step for Kyoto Insider Sake Experience.
By combining Kizakura’s modern brewery environment with KISE’s expert-led tasting and education, we have created a 3-hour sake experience that scales—while remaining authentic, personal, and intellectually satisfying.
If you are planning a group visit to Kyoto and are looking for a sake experience that goes beyond sightseeing, this tour is designed for you.
