If you say sake makers, touji, you may imagine mostly an elderly men. Recently, however, not only men but also many women are in the position of touji and producing sake.

“Kanpai! The second edition of a sake documentary movie, given by Mirai Konishi, director of Sake in Love with the World.
This time, the story of women active in the world of sake. Previous work “Kanpai! The world’s love sake has won the world premiere at the San Sebastian International Film Festival in 2015, and has been screened at numerous international and international film festivals such as the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Hawaii International Film Festival.

The world of sake that has long been said to be “woman prohibited”. It is a documentary that rediscovers the world of sake and it is simpley wonderful to see women doing great of a new generation in such a traditional sake world.
